Happy New Year everyone, we hope you had a great one! Our first post of the new year also marks the begin of a new series of monthly printable calendars. 2016 has been wonderful as we started our blog, publishing posts and videos twice a week. As you can imagine staying organised became both a priority and a not-always-easy to-accomplish task. We found ourselves constantly printing calendars and decided to create our own. The printable calendar January 2017 shows our new Spring at Osterley pattern and hopefully it will help you to stay organised in style. Read on to learn more about the blooming design and make sure to download your free copy at the end of this post.
Introducing: Spring at Osterley Park
Who is ready for spring flowers and soft pastels? The Spring at Osterley Park pattern takes inspiration from the beautiful garden of Osterley House, which is a gorgeous country estate located just 8 miles from the centre of London. The design features some of our favourite late winter and early spring flowers, such as ranunculus, anemones, tulips and cherry blossoms. We arranged the flowers in soft bouquets placed over a dark slate blue backdrop. This is the first time we put our drawing on a dark background, and we love the look of it!
All of our designs starts with an idea turned into a drawing turned into a pattern. Capturing the delicate and almost translucent ranunculus petals was essential for this fresh and dreamy print.
