We had so much fun sharing Halloween projects this month that we can’t believe October is almost over. But with many new exciting projects to come, we look forward to the arrival of November. The 5th of November marks Guy Fawkes Night in Britain, which is traditionally celebrated with bonfires. The 12th is Remembrance Sunday, and the 30th is St Andrew’s Day in Scotland. The printable calendar November 2017 shows our new Winter Rose pattern. Hopefully, it will help you to stay organised in style this month. Read on to learn more about the blooming design and make sure to download your free copy at the end of this post.

Introducing: Winter Rose

Our Winter Rose print is inspired by the white rose of York, the heraldic symbol of the aristocratic House of York and county flower of Yorkshire. Today, the white rose is common symbol found around the streets of York.  The flower’s association with the name ‘York’ is said to go back to the fourteenth century when it was one of the emblems worn by the followers of the House of York. The Winter Rose design shows a palette of cooler tones, different shades of emerald green, silver and white. The florals include white avalanche roses, silver dollar eucalyptus, ivy leaves and berries, Lisianthus, and Ornithogalum, set on a dark green background.

For our Winter Rose print, white flowers, evergreen ivy, and icy eucalyptus have been woven into a snowy and wintery design. The design is placed on a cool green background.| countryhillcottage.com
