Sooth your skin with a homemade floral facial toner! Using a face toner in your beauty routine can help to balance the pH level of your skin, minimise pores, prevent and reduce acne, and refresh the skin. The floral toner leaves no greasy film on your skin and instead feels very lightweight and refreshing. It’s a great treatment for oily, acne-prone skin and won’t irritate sensitive skin. In this third part of my clear skin series, I share my recipe for a fragrant DIY facial toner that you can make with only three ingredients: rose water, geranium hydrosol, and aloe vera gel. Rose water is anti-inflammatory and reduces redness., In addition to having a very lovely feminine scent, germanium hydrosol regenerates and hydrates the skin by sealing moisture from the surroundings into the epidermis. And aloe vera gel helps to relieve acne inflammation and unclogs pores. I use the homemade floral facial toner as a base under my other skin care products and makeup. It’s also fantastic to freshen up in summer. I recommend keeping the toner in the fridge for the ultimate refreshment. As always, cute printable labels can be downloaded at the end of this post.
“I used to suffer from clogged pores and breakouts. Irena recommended introducing aloe vera gel and her floral face toner into my daily skincare routine – and it made all the difference! Now I have clear, smooth skin and I love the flowery smell of this toner.”

Storage and shelf life
The homemade floral facial toner can be stored at room temperature for 6 months.
How to print the label
Print the label on DIN A4 or letter size self-adhesive or sticker paper and cut out along the grey outline. Adhere the label to your bottle or spritz bottle. The label comes in different sizes, giving you more options when choosing a bottle or container.
We recommend printing the labels on self-adhesive vinyl sheets. Vinyl sheets are water-resistant and will ensure the label stays pretty, and the colours don’t come off when exposed to water or humidity. Vinyl sheets can be found in printing shops or online. They are available for inkjet as well as for laser printers and can be used in the same way as regular printing paper. We used Photo Paper Direct’s A4 Inkjet Creative Vinyl Stickers Matt to print our labels.
