Hi, we are sister team Irena and Cyna

Welcome to Country Hill Cottage – a lifestyle blog filled with easy recipes, homemade beauty, and DIY projects. It’s so nice to meet you!

Our motto is: Make life beautiful, one project at a time. This pretty much describes the majority of the content on our site. We started blogging to stay connected with our family who lives scattered throughout North America and Europe.

Now, we share our creative ideas and recipes with our readers every day. On CHC, you will find ✨DIY beauty ideas,🌸essential oil education,🍓easy family recipes, and🌈fun craft projects.

Our goal is to create inspiring content and the most rewarding part of running this blog is helping others. We feel tremendously grateful, humbled, and excited that so many readers are visiting our site each month. Thank you for being here!

We are grateful that our work has been featured by Willow & Sage Magazine, In Her Garden, Country Living, Parade, Apartment Therapy, Brit + Co, The Prairie Woman, and Martha Stewart.

Meet Irena

Hi I’m Irena! I’m a trained florist and have worked as a custodian for our local church for many years. My interest in essential oils and eco-friendly living led me to become a certified aromatherapist and I’m excited to share my essential oil education and natural skin and body care recipes. When I’m not on here, I love looking after my husband Patrick and our family of fury babies.

How did Country Hill Cottage get started?

We launched Country Hill Cottage 10 years ago as a creative outlet and to stay connected with our far-away family members. The content reflects our various interests, from flower arranging to essential oils to baking.

Why is your blog called Country Hill Cottage?

When we started this blog, we were both living busy lives in the hustle and bustle of London. We love nature and would spend as much time as possible in the beautiful English countryside, roaming lovely Cotswold villages and dreaming of a quaint little cottage on a green countryside hill. This dream eventually manifested in the name of our blog.

To us, Country Hill Cottage is a peaceful and inspiring place where you can celebrate the small joys of everyday life, have a friendly chat, be creative, and enjoy good food.

We are so happy to share this special place with you and hope our content inspires you too!

Do you sell beauty / essential oil products?

We realize that some of our beauty and essential oil creations may look like products for sale. However, we do not offer any physical products for sale. Instead, we develop beauty recipes and post them on here for you to make.

Can I use your recipes to create products for sale?

Yes, if you are a small business owner, you may create cosmetic and aromatherapy products based on our recipes and offer them for sale. We feel so honored and wish you the best success with your business endeavor!

Please do not republish our content in any form or use our photos. Thank you for understanding!
