Extra rich body butter is perfect to remedy dry skin in autumn and winter!
Homemade body butter
The base for this beauty DIY is made with cacao butter and shea butter that help to keep the skin moisturized and protect it from drying out. Apricot kernel oil, which is rich in vitamins A and E and said to have positive effects on skin ageing, and jojoba oil, which can reduce acne, eczema and sunburns, further boost the nourishing effect.
The body butter is ideal to smooth rough elbows, knees, or even feet. You can use it on the entire body, but we recommend to skip the face. And if you’re looking for a thoughtful homemade gift for your girlfriends, fill the body butter into small jars and gift them decorated with our free printable labels, which you can download at the end of this post.
