How to use the lemon sugar and salt scrub
The lemon sugar and salt scrub is perfect for exfoliating and will leave you with smooth skin. Wet and soften your skin in the shower with warm water for a couple of minutes. Apply the scrub in a circular motion and stop the water while exfoliating. Then wash off and continue with regular skin care. You can use the scrub on your entire body but the face.
Lemon Sugar and Salt Scrub Recipe
Whip up a batch of our lemon sugar and salt scrub for an easy way to keep your skin looking and feeling great! The combination of fine sugar and coarse salt crystals will make your skin very soft. If lemon oil is unavailable, use grapeseed or olive oil instead. The amount of lemon essential oil used, depends on your personal preference. You can always add more if you like a stronger scent.
Materials
- 200 g (1 cup) granulated sugar
- 140 g (1/2 cup) coarse salt (e.g. pretzel salt or sea salt)
- 5 g (1/2 tbsp) dried lemon peel
- 20 ml (1 1/2 tbsp) lemon oil
- 15 g (1 tbsp) coconut oil
- 15 – 20 drops lemon essential oil
- yellow gel paste food coloring or soap colorant (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the sugar and salt. Place the sugar, salt, and lemon peel into a large mixing bowl and stir until blended.
- Add the oils. Add the lemon oil, coconut oil, and lemon essential oil. Knead until well blended, and the sugar-salt mixture is completely coated.
- Color the scrub. Using a cocktail stick (toothpick), pick up a small amount of yellow gel paste food coloring or soap colorant and stir into the mix until the scrub is evenly tinted. Keep in mind that food or soap colors are highly concentrated so a small amount might be enough for coloring. This step is optional.

Print the labels
Print the labels on DIN A4 or letter size sticker paper or self-adhesive paper and cut out along the grey outline. Remove the backing of the paper and adhere to the designated lid or container. The labels come in different size giving you many options when choosing a jar or container.
