Heart Favor Boxes Instructions
Heart favor boxes make a pretty wedding or party favors and are the perfect little gift to surprise someone special on Valentine’s Day.
Materials
- heavy cardstock or photo paper
- printable heart favor boxes (download below)
- ribbon
Tools
- craft scissors
- metal ruler (optional)
- bone folder (optional)
- scoring board (optional)
- stylus (optional)
- single hole punch
Instructions
- Print the box. Print the heart favor box on DIN A4 or US letter size photo paper or card stock. Optionally, print the decorative pattern on the back of the box.
- Cut out. Cut out the box following the grey lines.
- Score and fold. Score and fold the box using the bone folder and metal ruler. Alternatively, use a scoring board and stylus or do it freehand.
- Assemble the cake box. To assemble the box, fold in and tuck the side flaps. For more stability, we recommend gluing the inner flaps together. Fold the front and back heart-shaped flaps upwards and punch two holes near the top of the hearts.
- Package goodies. Fill the favor box with treats or small gifts. Close the box using a piece of ribbon. When packaging edibles we recommend lining the favor box with greaseproof (wax) paper or prepackage the treats in small cellophane bags.
