Tired of oily skin, clogged pores, and painful breakouts? I have suffered from acne-inflamed skin for many years, and this struggle is what initiated my interest in homemade skin care with natural ingredients and essential oils.
Preparing your own beauty recipes isn’t difficult and can save you a lot of money. The greatest benefit is that you have full control over the quality of the materials that ultimately your skin and body absorb.
There are many reasons why breakouts happen (think puberty, hormones, stress, nutrition, makeup products etc.) and not all can be solved by switching your skincare routine.
So I recommend to explore The NHS, the National Health Service, has published a comprehensive series of articles about the causes of and treatments for acne, which are worth exploring.
That being said, a good skin care regime is essential for healthy skin and the following 4 beauty DIYs for clear skin are perfect to tackle acne and clogged pores!
4 Beauty DIYs for Clear Skin
Think of the following 4 beauty DIYs for clear skin as a 4-step program. First up is a deep cleansing mud with Ghassoul clay and manuka honey to give your skin a good cleanse.
If your skin is very oily, give my DIY oil cleanser a try, which will help to balance out the lipids in your skin. Then follow up with a floral facial toner with aloe vera and rosewater and my moisturizing balm to replenish your face. When shopping for ingredients, please choose only the best quality available and buy unprocessed, organic products if possible.
Depending on your specific skin type, it may take several weeks of treatment before the products take effect and acne symptoms improve.
Each recipe comes with printable instructions and my sister Cyna created pretty printable labels so you can organize your products and gift them to your girlfriends. Simple tab the links to check out the DIY or pin for later!
